Lazy Bear Den - Cozy Cabin with Open Floor Plan

Cute Cabin in the woods. Pros: Close to Helen, hiking and other activities. Super soft mattress. Hot Tub works. Cons: The cabin smelled musty and damp upon arrival. The dressers and extra blankets smelled. Dishes are cheap plastic and only salt and pepper is provided. Cob webs throughout. (Not Halloween decorations) Needs a new shower head. Mattress so soft it sinks in the middle. For what is charged nightly I expected cleaner, better smell and real dishes.

We had a great time here. Very easy to find and close to everything. The cabin was very clean and well laid out. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Helen.

When we arrived the outside needs spruced up. The deck was covered with sticks and other debris falling from the dead trees around the cabin. A blower would have fixed that issue as well as all the spiderwebs I walked through going to the front door. They were from the rafters to the deck railing so no missing them. Porch lights grill were covered with webs.Front door was warped and didn't function correctly. Hot tub cover was moldy needs major scrubbing the water seemed clean in the tub but no iiinstructions. Inside was great would recommend a sectional with reclining ends as well as bigger tv. Host called and I told her of the issues. She stated a work order was being done. Claimed the inspectors should have noted the issues but hadnt.i would stay again it is in quiet area only 5 minutes from Helen.
