Love Bird - The Perfect Nest!

From the moment we arrived, we were thrilled with the cleanliness and beauty of the space. We had a little trouble figuring out how to turn off the hot tub, but the owners response times were perfect even with some cell issues (hey, it's the mountains what can you expect) Instructions for check out were clear and reasonable. We enjoyed our time immensely and hope to rebook in the future. The kitchen had everything we needed, the space felt warm and welcoming, and we had more towels than needed. 10/10 will recommend to our friends looking for a couples getaway.

There were several indications that the cabin had not been cleaned thoroughly. While it appeared that a light cleaning had been done before we arrived, there were multiple areas that seemed like they had not been deep cleaned in quite some time. The dishwasher had mold inside it, so we did not feel comfortable using it. Instead, I hand-washed our dishes and left them on the counter. The hot tub had tufts of hair and other debris in it before we turned on the jets, and even more came out once the jets were running. The Jacuzzi tub in the bedroom was also very dirty. After the water level reached the jets and we turned them on, there was an immediate sewage smell, the water began turning gray, and visible dirt and debris came into the water. Because of these issues, it made us question the cleanliness of the rest of the cabin. There were also small specks on the bed sheets, which unfortunately added to those concerns. As it stands now, I would not feel comfortable recommending the cabin to friends or family. However, if these cleanliness issues are addressed, I would be happy to recommend it in the future because we otherwise enjoyed our stay and think it has a lot of potential.

My wife and I rented Love Bird for a weekend to celebrate our anniversary. It was the most amazing weekend! It's Minutes from Helen so we went into town at night and spent our days in Love Bird's loft or in the jacuzzi. 5 stars all around!
