Sit by the fireplace and read your favorite novel, use the WiFi to surf the internet, or curl up on the sofa to watch a movie. You are on vacation!  Just a short hike up the mountain road offers magnificent breathtaking vistas. Then, watch the day come to a close with a beautiful sunset from the large deck or the hot tub.

A Glimpse of Heaven has a gas grill for those dinners you have been planning. All you need to bring with you is food and beverage. This cabin includes a fully-equipped kitchen, cookware, utensils, dinnerware and flatware. Yes, there is a coffee maker, too! There is an outdoor firepit, just don't forget the firewood.  There is also an 8 foot slate top pool table and a large flat screen plasma TV in the game room.

Alpine Helen, in all her Bavarian charm, is only 4 miles up the road. Just as close are numerous hiking trails, Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls. We promise you won't run out of things to do and see while staying with Georgia Mountain Rentals.

Floor Plan: Upstairs = Master king bedroom and a queen bedroom with a shared full bath. Each bedroom has sliding glass doors to the upper deck. Main Floor = Living room, kitchen, half bath and covered porch. Bottom Floor = Game room,  and full bath, lower deck with hot tub.

• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.

- **Anonymous**: "If your one must-have is a beautiful view, this is your place. If you’re looking for a “luxury” property as stated on the website, keep looking. This cabin is homey and has rustic charm but needs a refresh: a deep cleaning, new carpet, new furniture and various other things (like a room big enough to accommodate the pool table and cue sticks that aren’t warped). If your party is larger than four, bring extra silverware since the kitchen is lacking in the basic necessities. There’s a lot of outdoor decks to enjoy the surroundings. Both Helen and Cleveland are nearby and it’s a short drive to restaurants, stores, and activities. The worst part of our stay was the rough dirt road and the much rougher driveway. I suggest a small SUV with tires that can take a beating. Also, the parking space at the cabin is tight and two vehicles would be a squeeze. Be careful getting on and off the main road, one side has a blind curve." (4/5)

Not only was the cabin on hill that overlooked mountainous terrain and natures beauty but it was only 15 minutes from the town of Helen where we floated down a cool temp. river, zipped lined, cruised a solo coaster downhill, but ate German, Mexican, and American cousine. The town was beautiful with attraction for all ages. At cabin I sat around firepit as I heard 4 different species of birds chirping/singing in back ground when suddenly a gorgeous Pileated woodpecker flew over my head. This place is heaven!
